Lonza Specialty Ingredients (LSI) is looking for a Manager, HR Projects & Process Excellence reporting to the Sr. Manager, HR Analytics & Projects. This role will play a critical role in managing and driving strategic HR projects in support of LSI’s global HR strategy. This role will work closely across the LSI HR team and partner with subject matter experts to drive HR functional excellence. This position will also be responsible for analyzing current HR business process and design, identifying opportunities for optimization, efficiency, and simplification. This role is new to our Global HR team and is critical to achieve our strategic initiatives.
Global segment coordinator and delivery of complex project management objectives in support of strategic direction defined by LSI HR Leadership.
Develop, monitor and track project plan; driving milestone completion and developing plans for corrective action when needed.
Develop program metrics and dashboards to ensure accurate reporting of HR strategic initiative and project milestones and timelines.
Support global roll-out and implementation of HR projects and programs; acting as change champion and ensuring buy-in from key stakeholders.
Ability to analyze and document complex business processes and to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance.
Process Excellence / Optimization
Review and analyze existing HR processes and workflows; partner with process owners and subject matter experts to document workflows and process requirements.
Identify opportunities for optimization, efficiency, and simplification. Lead and manage strategic process improvement projects and initiatives.
Support global roll-out and communication of HR process improvements.
Create and maintain a repository of process flows and other related technical communications
Develop internal audit programs to ensure adoption of process improvements.
Partner with HR Analytics and HRIS to improve downstream systems for operating efficiencies and effectiveness.
Proven work experience in process engineering, process mapping and delivering measurable improvements.
Proactive - takes initiative to identify and anticipate employee and business needs and make recommendations for implementation.
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or similar business field required
5+ years in project management and continuous improvement experience
Strong business analysis skills including written communication, presentation development, and process engineering skills
Experience with HR end-to-end business processes
Experience with process visualization software
Proven strong experience with Microsoft platforms, such as PowerPoint and Excel
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive data and topics
