For Drug Product Services (DPS), our successful Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) branch, located in Basel, Switzerland and Stein, Switzerland, we have exciting opportunities. Key responsibilities:

  • Drive standardization, centralization and digitalization on basis of MS-Office tools (Excel, MS Project, Access and/or Power BI) within DPS

  • Develop and implement cross-departmental solutions for DPS as well as establish a dashboard including KPIs and tracking possibilities mainly using MS-Office functionalities

  • Establish visualization tools according to department requirements enabling the extraction /exchange of data from global Lonza network systems and dashboards

  • Simplify administrative data collection by introducing  new processes using MS - office or Lonza network tools

  • Develop and maintain documentation relating to all assigned systems and user cases

  • Identify scope of work, product development schedule, report progress, and meet deadlines

  • Collaborate with Software, Engineering, Biology, Service and other teams

  • Gather user requirements, prepare and perform data migration activities

  • Take responsibility for content of test scripts, execute functional testing as well as create and lead trainings

  • Request standard and or custom IT solutions as well as oversee external parties’ adherence with Lonza standards and guidelines

Key requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science or Natural Science or alternatively experience in the field of computer application set up and implementation

  • Extensive experience in IT/OT systems, architecture and networking especially with MS Access, Excel, MS-Project including programming Macros (VBA – SQL)

  • Very good knowledge of software design and implementation life cycle

  • Hands-on programming (MS-Tools), documentation and other software skills of advantage

  • Fluency in English and German
